EDUCATION

Me. Ferland holds a University degree in Civil Law (the Law of Québec) and another one in Common Law (the Law of the other provinces of Canada) from McGill University in Montréal. He also spent an extended period of time in Bavaria (Germany), which allowed him to develop his basic knowledge of German. He continued his European stay in Switzerland, notably in the Basle Canton. It was also in this beautiful country that he obtained his degree in Swiss Law from the Université de Lausanne (Canton de Vaud).

He was called to, and passed his exams for, the Bar (Barreau du Québec) in 1988. Finally, he obtained his Masters in International Commercial Law from McGill University in 1993.
